it turned out to be amazing.
we know the guy who owns Rival here in the city.
it was featured in transworld as one of the top ten skateshops in the country.
Anyways, he was able to get us some wristbands so we could be in the VIP section.
We had a front row view of some amazing skating... plus we had all of the skaters hanging out around us as we watched. Alex was star struck. It was cute.

it was worth the hour and fifteen minute trek both ways and the sunburned shoulders...
at least it was sunny. i'm going to watch the videos after freaks & geeks. I can imagine Alex being star-struck. :)
